PURPOSE: To provide leaders/managers with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage their operations through organizational transition.
Ready or not, the way we manage business is changing. Sometimes, it is planned and thought out; other times it just happens. Some people view it with skepticism and anxiety, while others see it as an opportunity and approach the task with eagerness. Either way, change disrupts people's understanding about their roles in an organization, where and how they fit in, and what impact change will have on them. This is particularly true when the specifics about the change are still being worked out. When an organization decides to change substantially, there is no "silver bullet" or quick fix. There is no "McChange". Change is a living, dynamic process, and it takes time. What it needs to be successful and creative is leadership at every level. It requires people who will influence others to act in a productive manner and provide them with a vision of what the organization will be. This program provides leaders with the context, knowledge, and tools to successfully manage change in their operations, no matter what the organization's size.
